About Me

I’m currently Director of Strategy at ActionSprout, a startup that provides tools for nonprofits to organize and engage their supporters on Facebook.

I’m also a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Public Administration at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington.  I’ll graduate in June, 2013.

I’m an active member of the Plone community, which builds a pretty darn amazing open-source content management system.

I serve on the board of Netcentric Campaigns.

From 1995 until 2011, I was a Senior Strategist at Groundwire (formerly ONE/Northwest), where I helped nonprofit environmental organizations with engagement strategy and technology systems.

I get excited about engagement strategy, collaboration, open data, performance measurement, effective leadership, good writing, and grassroots organizing that builds power.
