I really enjoyed Ian Bicking’s PyCon talk, “Topics of Interest.” Light on substance perhaps, but possibly the best use of a twitter an IRC backchannel ever.   Ian is indeed one of those people who is interested in interesting things.

• ‘Practical Plone 3? review « Encolpe Degoute
  Even if the target of this book is beginners it was a very interesting reading for an old developer like me. If you don’t use it for yourself, you will use it to give answers to your end-users. I can only recommend everyone to buy it. Nice work guys.

Calvin Hendryx-Parker loves the ZODB.  As well he should — it’s an amazing database that continues to be waaay ahead of its time.  Object databases are great for content management, it’s a shame to see so many folks stuck in SQL-only modes of thinking.

My colleague Steve Andersen is doing some neat work to create techniques for sending email series with Salesforce.  This is a pretty great “low-tech” technique for building an engagement relationship, useful  in organizing, service delivery and training contexts.
