Amazon launches persistent storage for EC2 hosting

Amazon has launched a public beta of Elastic Block Store, their long awaited persistent storage solution for their EC2 virtual hosting service.

This is big news for the world of server hosting. I can’t wait to start transitioning some of our Plone servers over to EC2!
